Bounty Trail The Agency Wanted Board
Read payout, day limit, and last-seen land before you Select.
The wanted board is the whole career in one piece of paper. Bounty Trail does not throw a quest log at you. September Games puts posters on the agency wall, and you live or die by four printed lines: payout, day limit, last-seen territory, and the dead-or-alive line that is on every card. This page is the roster we can prove from official Steam extras and Henke’s own screenshots. It is still not a fake 30-name bestiary — just the names the art actually prints.
If you are still learning the office, start with Getting Started. Job-shape ranking lives on the tier list. Map fog and the three named lands live on territories.
How to read a poster
Every confirmed card is wanted dead or alive. Steam’s store copy is blunt: you get paid either way, but an alive capture grants more experience so later hunts do not walk over you. Read the paper in this order:
- Payout in dollars. Confirmed range so far: $120 (Billy Two Hats) up to $1,200 (Obstinate Jeb).
- Day limit. The office text says you have N days to apprehend this villain. Confirmed clocks include 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 days. N is not always 7.
- Last-seen territory. Named lands on posters: Sandy Plains, Rainy Plains, Gran Pradera.
- The crime line when it is printed (embezzlin’, hat stealin’). Flavor, not a different rule set.
- The Select prompt. Do not click it until the four lines above match a week you can actually ride.
An April 2026 beta office shot dated Tuesday, September 20, 1881 shows the ledger you come home to: Money $821, Player Level 4, 1500 XP, Bounties Hunted 5, Caught 3, Killed 0. A later store shot dated Saturday, October 8, 1881 shows $3,200.00, level 11, 159 XP, Hunted 9 / Caught 6 / Killed 1. Those columns are the board’s report card. A loud nickname that only ticks Killed is a bad week even if the purse looks fat.
Steam extras collage (ten posters)
Official Steam extra art for app 4126530 prints ten WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE cards on one sheet. That is the densest public roster.
| Name | Payout | Clock / last seen |
|---|---|---|
| Weasely Bob | $250 | Not printed on the crop |
| Doniphald Suppersby | $250 | Not printed on the crop |
| Harry “Big Head” Bronson | $250 | Not printed on the crop |
| Ugly Peter | $950 | Not printed on the crop |
| Tincan Jack | $150 | Not printed on the crop |
| William The Vile | $1,000 | 4 days, Gran Pradera |
| American Mike | $1,000 | 2 days, Gran Pradera |
| Obstinate Jeb | $1,200 | 3 days, Gran Pradera |
| Monobrow Joe | $900 | 3 days, Sandy Plains |
| Outlaw Fella | $600 | 3 days, Sandy Plains |
Weasely Bob is the name earlier crops only showed as a partial “Wessel” fragment. The extras sheet spells it.
Other confirmed names from HUD and office shots
| Name | What the art actually shows |
|---|---|
| Baldheaded Doom | Office poster: dead or alive, $600, 5-day clock, last seen in Sandy Plains. |
| Wagon Wheel Joe | Named on the right-hand office list next to Doom. |
| El Gato Terrible | Office list plus a trail HUD south-west sighting on a Day 2 / 7 clock. |
| ”Big” Tim Stonehill | Beta office, 20 Sep 1881: $200, 7 days, last seen in Rainy Plains, wanted for embezzlin’. |
| Billy Two Hats | Camp HUD: $120, wanted for hat stealin’. Notes: morning grogginess, moves slower before noon. Speed listed Average. |
| Albert Smith | Wall poster in the 20 Sep 1881 office shot. Payout not readable in that crop. |
That is still a minority of the advertised 30. If a streamer yells a twenty-first name, wait until the letters are on a screenshot.
Day clocks are not flavor
Trail HUD examples are mixed on purpose. Day 2 / 7 with El Gato Terrible to the south-west. Day 2 / 6 at 11:38 with Information: Not enough (13) after coffee. Day 3 / 5 at 23:42 in Scraggyville hunting Billy Two Hats. Day 4 / 6 on an encounter screen. Day 3 / 3 while you already have a rifle out. Baldheaded Doom is 5 days. Tim Stonehill is 7. American Mike is 2. Read Day X / Y every time you Stop.
A 2-day clock in Gran Pradera (American Mike) is how you DRAW at thin Information. A 5- or 7-day clock in a land you already mapped is how Caught stays ahead of Killed. Pair this page with capture alive before you treat a $1,200 nickname as a boss fight.
The board lives in the agency. The trail HUD drops the poster art and keeps the clock, Energy, Gold, and Information. Gold on the trail (2.75, 10.90 in Henke’s stills) is not office Money. The $10,000 debt is the office number. The money guide and debt tracker exist so you do not spend a 5-day clock on a vanity chase while October is burning.
How to pick when the wall is full
- Prefer a 5+ day limit on a first visit to a territory. Tim Stonehill’s 7-day Rainy Plains paper is that shape. American Mike’s 2-day Gran Pradera paper is not.
- Prefer a last-seen land you are willing to learn. Fog on the territories map is real; Rainy Plains even warns that rain and swamps cut visibility.
- Prefer a payout you can collect before Energy hits zero. Camp Sleep is +15 Energy / −4 hours in the Scraggyville shot. Demo hunters still got stuck at 0%.
- Prefer a job you can talk down. Alive XP is the skill engine. Player skills on the camp panel are Speed, Perception, Aim, and Negotiation, each 0–5. See skills.
Loud nicknames are bait. Obstinate Jeb at $1,200 / 3 days in Gran Pradera looks like a story. Tincan Jack at $150 looks like a joke. Learn on a long clock, then take the fat, short papers when the roads are in your head.
What this wiki will not add
We will not fill the remaining unnamed bounties with invented hats. We will not assign fake HP to Wagon Wheel Joe. When Henke or the Steam page prints another poster, this table grows. Until then, hunt types on the tier list are more honest than a fan-made S-tier of ghosts.
If you came here from a search for codes, Trello, or scripts: Bounty Trail is a paid single-player Steam RPG. There is no codes page. Use Guides, Updates, and the links hub.
Take one paper. Ride. Talk. Come back with Caught ticked if you can. The wall will still be there in November, and the $10,000 note does not care which nickname you framed.

Should I take every poster on the wall?
No. Match day limit to a territory you can map. Rank job shapes on the tier list and cash need on the debt tracker.
